Something to consider is this, Locks keep honest people honest but you can't stop a thief with a brick or a tire tool. I don't lock my compartments, I figure it is cheaper to replace the goods then it is to repair the busted compartment doors.

Jeff you're right about the brick or tire tool. But I still lock my compartments because why make it easy for the thieves if we don't have too?

If the stick doesn't keep them out you can use it as a weapon. Example: beat them with it.

You could always get an alarm system that says in an Arnold voice " step away from the coach". Haha
