Default Water Tank Leaking When Being Filled

My fresh water tank leaks when I am filling the tank. Stops when I stop the fill. I estimate the loss is about 1/3 of the flow going in. The tank will eventually fill. Searching the bay compartment I cannot see where the leak is coming from. Does anyone have an idea.

Are you filling through the top fitting? Or through the city water connection?
That's gonna be a tough one.
Where are you seeing the water coming from, on the floor of the basement compartment? Running out under the coach, but not water on floor?
On top of the tank?
When did this start leaking? Did you do or replace anything recently?

Hello,

Haven't replaced anything recently, and I'm filling through the top fill hole.

After it is full does it continue leaking?
Do you see any water on the top of the tank?
Do you have another fill on the other side of the tank? Could water be running out there?

I have the same suggestion as I have in the past, use some Food Coloring. It really helps to find the leak by changing the water from clear to colored. You will be surprised!!!!!!!!!!
PS....... use Red Food Coloring not Yellow or even Blue, Blue since you may be using Chemicals in the Toilet, Yellow or Blue may not be acceptable.
