Newell has authorized me to release this artist's rendering of the 2011 Newell. According to Newell:
The major changes are new front and rear fascia trim with prominent LED running lights on the front that outline the outer edges of the headlight bezels.

Gorgeous - the lines are perfect. I love the flush mounted windows (I know they're not new but I think they are really cool).

The LED running lights around the headlight bezels will really set this masterpiece off from the rest of the crowd; especially at night!

Good job design team!

Here is the article that is on RV Travel. Oh How I am dreaming now!

Newell Coach Corporation has announced that it has begun production of its new 2011 models with retail deliveries scheduled for the first of the year. The new models feature updated styling by top automotive designer, Jason Hill, founder of the cutting-edge design firm, Eleven.

The 2011 models include enhanced styling and increased power, as well as the state-of-the-art look, ride, and handling. The coach front and rear feature fresh new details For example, the high-performance, xenon gas-discharge headlights are placed behind clear acrylic lenses, bordered by distinctive, 'string-of-pearls' LED daytime running lights. And the front fascia trim now runs the full width of the coach, integrating with the outboard headlight assemblies. The finish of the fascia has been upgraded to an attractive, automotive-quality, hard chrome.

"The coach front and rear feature fresh new details," Vanover continued. "For example, the high-performance, xenon gas-discharge headlights are placed behind clear acrylic lenses, bordered by distinctive, 'string-of-pearls' LED daytime running lights. The price of the 2011 Newell coaches is expected to be about $1.5 million. The company reports that some are already pre-sold.

Jason Hill also designed the Aptera. It is a very low drag plugin electric vehicle that is scheduled to start production by the end of 2009. I have a deposit on one of these (the plugin electric hybrid version). I wonder if I can tow it behind the Newell?

I was up at Newell coach this week. Almost had coach 1409 a 2011 Newell finished. I must say, it was one of the best Newells I have ever seen. They didnt have the headlight bezels in yet, but Pat said they should be arriving soon. Hopefully they will be in when I go back up on the 14th :)
