The round and rounded beds are attractive to look at. The round edge makes getting around the end of the bed convenient too. However, how do you change a mattress to one more comfortable? Is there a Select Comfort or Tempur-Pedic mattress that fits?

Depending on what year coach you have, the standard Newell mattress is 60" x 80" with rounded corners. I believe that this is the queen size in most stores.

Newell makes their own mattresses in house. The new ones are very comfortable if you want to have the curved corners I THINK you will have to go to Newell.

The mattresses have always been comfortable IMO. I sleep better in my MH than I do at home (I'm not joking!).

If you want a Temper-pedic just measure a queen size TP and I'm sure it will fit.

What year is your Newell?

Funny, my coach is the same year as Tuga's, but my mattress is not standard and in fact has the curved bottom corners the original poster was talking about. Standard fitted sheets don't work worth a darn, and I am saving up to splurge on the special ones that Newell makes to fit. As far as comfort, it seems okay to me. If it's quiet and dark I can sleep on almost anything. Russ

As I always say no two Newells are the same. Mine has a king Temperpedic with rounded corners. Russ:I'm at Newell now & I'll let you know what a fitted sheet cost as they are doing one for me. For a good night sleep nothing like the Newell!
