auto start generator

what model year did newell start putting an autostart on the generator so it starts up when the batteries get low?

have any of you installed that system and if so how hard and how expensive was it?

I installed a Magnum system on my 89 and also on my 96. They worked great on both units. The 89 was installed with the Heart IN/Charger and I change the 96 to the Magnum pure sine with the auto gen start.
