«~» Class A's 'Gas-Engine Advantages' will be especially appealing to the
retail market with the impending increase in cost of the implementation of
the new diesel engine emission requirement in 2007.

«~» New diesel emission standards that go into effect January 1st 2007,
are expected to hike the retail cost of diesel-powered Class A's between
$5,000 and $10,000.

« ? » Even if these fees are small change on a 1 million plus dollar Newell,
it's still good money. Aren't these fees already added on to the 'New De-
troits & Cats'?

« ? » And what are the changes brought to New Diesel Engines to justify
these hikes ?

»»»»»»»» 'NewellClassic.com' ««««««~»»»»»» 'NewellClassic.com' ««««««««
Cat C15 Engines with ACERT® Technology for 2007 Certified by EPA
Caterpillar C15 engine, 625 bhp, 2,050 lb-ft torque (std.), Caterpillar C15 engine, 600 bhp,
1,850 lb-ft torque (opt.*) are 2 engines available on New Newell Coaches.

On November 29, 2006, Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) received certification from the U. S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its C15 engine equipped with ACERT® Techno-
logy for 2007.

"These certifications demonstrate that engines with ACERT Technology for 2007 are ready
to serve our customers. ACERT Technology has set a new industry standard for clean die-
sel technology, meeting the clean air goals we all support while maintaining the reliability,
durability and minimal owning and operating costs that Caterpillar engines traditionally
have provided."

In addition to truck, bus, recreational vehicle and fire truck ratings, the C15 provides the
highest horsepower and torque rating in the industry, demonstrating unmatched perfor-
mance, working in the most extreme heavy-duty applications.

ACERT Technology relies on four basic systems to lower emissions—air management, preci-
sion combustion, advanced electronics and effective after treatment. These four systems
work to decrease particulate matter, oxides of nitrogen and hydrocarbon emissions while
preserving the engine's reliability and durability, keeps owning and operating costs low.
