Reminder to clean your heaters.

Just thought I would throw the thought out there. I recently noticed a little red sparkle coming from one of my electric heaters. So, I pulled the cover off and noticed besides the dust that accumulates, there was some lint build up and it had been smouldering in there (Ike, kind of scary!). Of course it got a thorough cleaning as with all the heaters. I vacuumed, blew and wiped everything clean. I have found in the past, that the sensing strip have problems too, when they are dirty. Which, I'm sure some owners have replaced thinking their heaters were bad.

Great note, lint does catch fire fast. I have to admit that I used to bring Dryer Lint when I needed to build a Fire.
