We are staying in Mesa AZ for the winter this year and temperatures get down in the 30s. We have noticed that the mattress against the north wall gets really wet for about 8 inches only. There is actually water running down the wall. We are leaving the mattress away from the wall so as not to ruin the mattress but the water is present every morning, whether the mattress is against the wall or not. Any solutions - or ideas on why it's only this small area? We cannot access this area from under the coach.
Thank you for any ideas insolving this problem.

Condensation is a challenge when winter camping. Cooking, showering, heating, and breathing generates a lot of moisture. The average adult puts out about a pint of water while sleeping. Use good ventilation in the RV. Crack vents and windows. Move some air. You might want to get a dehumidifier if you are on shore power.

In areas that are getting an excessive amount of moisture, such as around your bed, I have had good luck with DampRid which is available through hardware stores.

If you can open your bedroom windows during the day when it warms up, it will help.
