My 1992 is wired so that all four headlights are on in the low beam setting and all four go to the bright setting when the dimmer switch is activated. I have just installed relays on the lights to reduce the length of wiring and to take the current off the headlight switch and dimmer switch. The original wiring forces the full current through both the headlight switch and dimmer switch. Parts are inexpensive, less than $30, and on mine, there was room at the far right side of the 12 volt breaker panel in front of the passenger to mount the relays.
Next project will be to see if I can add a switch and isolate the inside two headlights on low beam so that I can choose to either run just the outside two headlights or all four on low beam as it currently is.
Has anyone determined where the wires for the four headlights merge? Is it under the coach or behind the dash?
