I'm soaped up, in the shower, then the water fizzes, the pipes hammer, and it will not come back on. There is power to the fuse.

The first 5.7 died after only a month of service. To the company's credit, they replaced it. The 2nd pump was DOA.

I put a new pump in last week. Now it has stopped. I am beginning to think the HI Tech way is the wrong way.

Anyone gone through this many? My voltage is good, so that is not the issue. Thanks

Gringo,

I had a similar problem with my '93 Newell. I went thru 5 water pumps! The problem was a bad ground at the pump itself. I had 12v at the switch next to the microwave (inside the coach). But checking voltage at the pump it was 6v! The tech connected the negative wire to a good ground close to the pump and that was the end of the problems.

Low voltage was burning up the pumps!

This may not be your problem since you stated that your voltage was good. Are you measuring voltage at the pump or at the switch?

Hope this helps!

I agree with Tuga, It sounds like a bad ground just give us a little more information so we can better troubleshoot your issue.
