Does someone have a listing of the different models of Newell and the differences between them? e.g.: year, body width, engines, transmissions offered, etc.
I am trying to figure out which year Newell first offered a 102" coach...

The first year of a 102" wide Newell (referred to as the wide-body Newell) started in 1986 forward. There were a very small handful of 104" wide built believe it or not, but they were licensed as 102". At one time DOT was going to allow motor carriers to build go that wide and then the plug was pulled on the idea. So a couple of lucky folks out there have a super-wide 102". lol

Ken is correct, The first year of wide body newells were 1986.The extra space is nice but if its just the two of you then I don't see why a pre wide body would not be suitable. Our 1976 Newell had plenty of space and we never felt cramped.

We have had both 96" and 102" coaches and for full-timing the 102" is much nicer in my opinion. We can live with narrow body for a couple years and survive ..

I would prefer the 102" width, it is roomier by 6 inches and that is a lot in a 96" coach.

Good luck finding the right Newell for you and your wife.

Looking is more fun than actually buying (well, maybe !)

Have fun!
