I have a few questions -

How long has Newell Coach been in business?

How is the Newell coach different from regular motorhomes?

Who buys Newell coaches?

and What do people do with their Newell coaches? (besides of course travel in them) I read on here some NASCAR owners own them, I know some fulltime, Is there anything else people use them for?

We are trying to get a feel of what kind of people own Newell coaches. We hope to find a friendly bunch, we have been over at RV.net for years when we owned our 5th wheel...but it's WAY to large over there. It's hard to fish through all the people and it's to broad of a community with the different kinds of RV's like Class A, Class B, Class C, and Trailers etc. I like the fact that their is one community just for Newell owners on the web and what better place to ask all these questions.

1) They have been in business continuously since 1967
2) Newell builds their own chassis from the ground up....their coaches are 100% a creation of Newell, and every single Newell is different from every other one.
3) People who have a lot of money buy brand new Newells....NASCAR guys, rock bands, Formula 1 guys, and very wealthy people who can afford to drop $1.5 million+ on a coach.
4) Some race teams use them for hospitality at races. One owner I know recently purchased a 2002 Newell from American Honda Race Team who used theirs as a hospitality coach at races.
5) You will find on this forum, which is made up of primarily people who have purchased pre-owned Newells, that we are a very friendly, helpful bunch. One of the unexpected benefits of owning a Newell is all the friends you will make. We have been traveling now for about 8 moths and have been invited to park our coach at the homes of no less than 9 Newell owners, many of whom provide 50 amp electrical hookups, and some full hookups. I'm not just talking about casual friends, but good friends....the kind of people you can call and who will spend time helping you with problems you may be having with your coach. This is a great community to belong to.

Do you mind if I ask what is a hospitality coach?

The race teams usually operate a hospitality tent, or coach where people can stop in to socialize, eat, have drinks. These coaches do not have bedrooms usually....my friend has had to remove the couches, which were in the "bedroom" area and have a bed, and end tables built in.

A great discription is a "Party Barge" or I have heard them called the "Dark Angel" of luxury coaches. Maybe its "Demon Coach" Here is an example at this link:
