Rent vs Purchase Orlando Winter RV Park Resort Spot

We are talking about spending a couple of months each year in the Orlando Florida area, between having family down there and loving the "Florida winters" I am giving thought to buying a site in an RV park resort in central Florida. My question/concern is if buying is a good idea in this market/economy. I will appreciate advice and experiences that other folks may have on the subject.

We waited for years as prices to buy were much more than a lifetime of renting, but a few months back we bought at ORA in Port St Lucie, Florida as the prices went lower and lower and finally it made sense with the amount of use we give it and the cost being so low.
