How can I find the fuel tank capacity on a Newell Coach if the sellers do not know ?. Anybody know where it might be stamped or imprinted?

Thank You for your time,

I just measured the dimensions of mine, height, width, length. Multiply these 3 which gives you cubic feet, or cubic inches. Then google to convert cubic feet/inches to gallons.
Mine came out to:
Main fuel tank: 88x20.5x26" = 27 cu/ft= 202 gallons Auxilliary tank: 57x27x10" = 8.9 cu/ft= 67 gallons

269 gallons total

1 Gallon = 231 Cubic inches
88" X 20.5" X 26" = 46,904 cubic inches / 231 (cubic inches per gallon) = 203 Gallons

Multiply the length of the tank by the width by the depth, all in inches, and then divide by 231 for a pretty close measure of the tank capacity in gallons.

OK, Steve, what I didn't say was that those were the external measurements. I subtracted a gallon to make up the difference....lol!
I don't plan on letting the tank get so low that 1 gallon will make a difference:tongue:

Just trying to be helpful. I was a Hydraulic Engineer in a previous life, yeah I know but it is so. I did every stage of Plastics back then and then decided that I was not going to make someone else $$$$.
