The camping options at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) may be overwhelming for some people. With nearly 9,000 sites across 10 different campgrounds, officials have launched a campground advisor widget on its website to assist race fans who want to camp at the track during the two NASCAR Sprint Cup races in 2011.

"We're always looking for new, innovative ways to give our fans the best opportunity to make their visits to MIS more enjoyable, all while making the track's website fun and interactive," MIS director of communications Sammie Lukaskiewicz said. "By answering just a couple of questions, fans should be able to find what they need to make the most out of their camping experience."

The campground advisor can be found on the speedway's website on the "Go Camping" page. The tool will help make recommendations on which campsite at the speedway will best fit visitors' individual needs.

Nestled in the lush Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is a NASCAR national park where fans can get away and enjoy the very best in racing and camaraderie.

Races for the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup series are scheduled on June 19, 2011 and August 21, 2011.
