As we were leaving Tulsa on our way to Vegas I could only get a top speed of 40 on the flat. As Freightliner was on the way out of town we stopped in to have them fix the problem. It was after 5, and they work on RV's only on the day shift. About this time my wife wanted to know if I knew where her cell phone was. I used my phone and called her phone, and it was somewhere around the driver's seat. I went back in and to tell them we would just park it and wait till they opened the next day. On returning to the RV my wife informed me she had fixed the problem, you guessed it her cell phone was lodged under the footfeed. Problem solved, except for the high wind we made it a very pleasent trip.

Ha ha ha! Oh my goodness, haven't we all got a tale to tell like that one. Bob & Peggy just glad you got a good laugh out of it and are hopefully onto greener pastures there in Vegas! Best of luck to you folks and thanks for sharing with us.

 So if Peggy found the phone ringing is it safe to say the phone made it through all that intact?

Glad all was okay and it didn't cause any harm to the coach or an accident.

That will have to be a "foot note"

Yes the phone still works. I was looking at least 2 hours labor plus a bunch of parts replaced and they could still be looking for the problem. We've sure had a lot of fun telling the story, just glad we can laugh about it now.

The stories you can laugh about later are the best kind. :D
