easy way to keep mattress from sliding around on the platform

hi all,

how have you gays made it so the mattress doesn't slide around on the laminated platform in the bedroom. right now the former owner siliconed down some of the drawer non slip foam but it is peeling up. i had considered putting carpet, or something non slip on, but thought i would see what all of you have done.

My mattress platform has beads of silicon in a wave pattern. It helps but it certain doesn't hold the mattress firmly in place.

It will be interesting to hear other solutions that may work better.
