what should I do with my solar panels during storage

Just trying to find out what I should do with my solar panels during storage of my coach. Should it be disconnected from the batteries during this time and the batteries removed or is there any harm in leaving everything hooked up. Thanx for any help you can provide.

I left mine in May in Arizona for 6 months with solar panels charging and battery switches off. It was nice to pick it up and have fully charged batteries.
