I've been told by a dealer that Wanderlodge had used stainless in their later coaches and I am wondering if Newell or anyone else for that matter has used the material? Any pros or cons to stainless. I realize it doesn't rust but wonder if there are any negative aspects to consider? Thanks again.

I'm not aware of any stainless being used as structural material on a Newell. They have used stainless as siding on a few units. (for Roger Penske). It is problematic because of the additional weight added when used instead of aluminum. I'm not knowledgeable on BBird but would guess that their use of stainless would be in a similar application. I believe that some Prevost models have used stainless as structural frame material.

Prevost has used stainless for the structure for a number of years in all of their models.
