We just purchased a 1983m Newell that has a 903 cummins engine. Is this a common engine for this vintage coach? Are there any particular problems I should be aware of with this engine? Is there a source for an owners manual for this coach? The dash is very large and has lots of switches and gauges most of which I understand their purpose and function however there are a few I do not understand their purpose and function is there some where to get explanations for them?
Thanks in advance for your help
Jack

Sorry, but Newell didn't provide Owner's Manuals in the time frame that your coach was made.

As to your 903 Cummins, check eBay for manuals. They show up from time to time.

As to the switches and gauges, ask here and we will attempt to answer your questions. Newell used the same logic on many of their coaches for the gauges and switches.

Don't be shy to ask diesel related questions either.

Congratulations on your purchase of a Newell. We are here to try to make the experience a very positive one.
