Don't know if any of you have ever seen this Newell coach around, its home base had been up in Washington state for a few years until recently being sold to a new owner. This paint mural and whole body paint scheme was done by Stahr the guy who painted the fancy wancy paint schemes on most of the bad boy Marathon Coaches.

This paint scheme has a true theme to it with some blended visuals. Very cool, don't you think?

That's beautiful. It's always a sight to spot another Newell but when you get to see artwork on the back that makes it even better.

I've always admired the Marathon Coaches paint jobs. What a great addition of art on a Newell coach.

My coach was painted by Stahr but it's much more conventional than that.

Forest that's interesting. Is it original paint or was it redone by Stahr? Stahr has talent!

When I was buying my coach I spoke with 2 of the previous owners. The 2nd owner (who bought it from his brother) said his brother had it repainted at Stahr in Oregon (or Washington?). There is a signature on the back of the coach. Don't know when it was repainted or why but always thought it was kind of neat and unique.

That's a tight paint job! I want one on the back of my Newell! This Stahr is out of Oregon or Washington? Are they still in business painting coaches?

I had a 2001 Marathon that was painted by Jon Stahr it was great, some of the new Liberty's are painted by Dean Loucks in Elkhart,IN he is equal or better than Stahr.Check out his website his company is The Art Of Design or TAOD,there is a video of him painting a piano it is awesome.

This guy Dean has been around a long time I first heard about him in early 2000 when some of the offshore boat builders were using him to paint their latest and greatest go fast boats.I have not personally seen any of his work on the liberty's that he has done but I hear that they are better than the pictures.

this is mainly for old school rides that dont have the clear coat, you know when you compounded your car or rv (the compound purpose was to take off a layer of paint so the old worry stuff is gone, yet anyone whos dont it enough ends up seeing primer)lol. But my point was to protect your rides colors coat the beast with wax and do NOT remove it. This is done before winter months to protect you ride from the street salt and its rust effects........just a lady trying to post her 2 cents in a mans world...or internet site...whatever
