National Park Campgrounds

We occasionally use the self check in at some Nat'l Park Camp Grounds and we never leave cash but a personal check. We did this the 1st of Jan. and that check still has not cleared.... that's been 39 days. Any experience from others???? When we use a check at COE parks it usually only takes about 10 days not 39 to get deposited.

Gimpy, you could wait a little longer and see if it clears or could call the organization and ask them if they received it ok and wondering why it didn't clear yet. If they tell you that they received payment for that site and date, maybe ask for confirmation. Sure you could send a replacement but if this one clears you would have a hassle of dealing with a refund or be satisfied with a double payment. Actually, I remember having this happen and the check finally cleared. But it could be lost forever too.

Do like they do you, put a "Void after 30 Days" notice on the check then stop payment after 30 days :o:thumbsup:
