Hi All,

I'm curious what everyone carries in their newell for maintenance - repair. etc. I'll start a list of the tools I carry and we'll see what y'all can add or consider not essential.

Torque wrench, extension and wheel lug socket
Set of impact sockets
1" drive socket set
breaker bar
grease gun and grease
Fluke Multimeter set, multi meter, volt stick
wire and assorted terminal ends, shrink wrap

Tire pressure gauge
hack saw
cordless 18 volt set of drill. sawzall. flashlight and circular saw
drill bits and blades for sawzall
extension cords
inspection mirror with extendable handle

pliers..water pump, needle nose , linesman and regular
vice grips
assorted screwdrivers...too many of them
side cutters
flashlights
pry bar
gorilla tape, duct tape . aluminum foil tape and electrical tape
bottle of liquid electrical tape

claw hammer
assorted nails and screws...still never seem to have just the right one.
rope
bungee straps
chain and padlocks
nut drivers
assorted lubes such as WD 40


well that's it for now...I'll have to edit after I think of more.

Pretty much the same here, except I don't carry the sawzall.
I also have: wire strippers, 4# hand maul, epoxy glue/filler, silicone, roof repair tape, fuses, air fittings (including plugs), 2 12 ton jack stands, 20 ton jack, a few 2x12 boards.

Seriously, I really appreciate this thread, I'm still trying to figure out what tools to put in the Newell. I would add a magnetic extension too pick up those dropped bolts you can't quite reach.

Oh yeah in addition to the magnetic picker-upper I have a 3 pronged grabber for fishing out other things that aren't magnetic.

In addition I carry 1st aid kit, extra fuses, gloves, filter wrench, cable ties and spare bulbs

In addition to all of the above.

Electric staple gun
Hot glue gun
about 25 kinds of tape
about 10 sizes of asst hose

A lot depends upon you and your skill set. What I have that I do not see there by way of tools which I carry:

Soldering gun & small iron for fine work as well as two sizes of rosin core solder

a corded drill for the times when I need one quickly and it isn't charged

hardware assortment of nuts, bolts, screws (wood & sheet-metal ), washers (common & fender)

C clamps in several sizes

air driven impact wrench

set of combination wrenches and my trusty dremmel tool

I always have a case of ice cold Stella Artois in case I come across something that I can't fix by myself.

In addition to many of the items listed above, I carry a bolt cutter, 20ton jack, ultrasonic leak detector and a small digital RV camera on the end of a flexible cable.

A very good list, but think safety First Aid kit, reflective vest, gloves, triangles or flares, and old blanket.
