Bettery Temperatrue Monitor 107 Degrees is this normal ??????

I've got a battery temp reading on my solar monitor, but I wonder what battery temps is normal. Or is this monitor to know what to feed the battery based on the temp. I was back in the bay with the batteries and I happened to notice the warmth from them, so I checked the battery temp on the monitor. I think it said 107 F at that point.
