Has anyone heard of an alarm system that would tell you the height of an approaching stationary object before hitting it?

GiraffeG4 : Overhead Protection System (http://www.giraffeg4.com/)
But don't think you'll get much advance warning.

Forest is correct when you take into consideration that you have to be under the low clearance to get an accurate measurement. By then it's to late.

Only downfall with that system is it doesn't appear to sense heights at driving speeds.

Here is a GPS that would do the job, truckers use them. You can program your height into it and it will tell you what route you can take.Garmin dezl 760LMT Specifications (http://www.gpscity.ca/garmin-dezl-760lmt-specifications.html)
