Diesel Fuel Costs Engine Comparisons

Hello,
I'm trying to collect all the info I can to decide what to look for in finding a new used newell coach. Every day drive past our local diesel station....$4.12 yesterday. So, I would like some info concerning your experience with the following Fuel Mileage:

Series 60 ????
Cummins ?????

Any info and maintenance cost would be appreciated.

It has been my experience that buying diesel is the "cheapest" part of owning my coach. Most of the other systems & components is where it all get expensive and require regular care and feedings lol. ($$$).
