6V92 won't start from rear key

coach starts instantly from up front. When I went to start it from the rear key, it cranked but would not fire. I quit when it sounded as if the batteries were running down. When I went back upfront it started instantly. Any Ideas??

Cliff Is there a safety switch next to the starter switch turned off? If its on and still won't start try turn your key at the front to the ign position then try it, you might have a bad safety switch.

I had the same problem with my front/rear switch on my previous Newell. I sprayed the switch with electric contact cleaner and cycled the switch few times to clean the contacts. Worked like a charm after that.
