Installing Laundry Chute

Has anybody installed a laundry chute into the "basement" storage?

If so... What did you use for a chute door?

David, I have to imagine that this is not hard to accomplish let me do some checking around and I will post back with examples.

Jimmy Johnson did not have enough closet space so he moved the washer and dryer to the basement of his Marathon,that would be a good place for the chute to deliver the goods.

My old 1982 Executive had a set up like that. In the back closet there was a hinged door that you opened & then dropped laundry down a chute to the back storage compartment.

But then Patti has to go outside to get Steve's dirty socks and bring them back inside to wash?
If I had Steve's dirty socks in my coach I'd want a chute that would open up to the highway :)

David having a easy access laundry chute is a great idea. I have seen some laundry chutes that were done in coaches that led to a basement compartment. Places you could consider - the washroom or in the closet floor?
