I am thinking of installing an Autoformer in my 1983 Newell.

They have two 50-amp models, a 50-amp 120-volt model and 50-amp 240-volt model.

I believe the way my coach is wired is two legs of 50-amp at 120-volt. Is this correct?

I would like this to be a permanent installation inside the electrical compartment. In what order should things be wired (line from shore power, Autoformer, inverter, electrical panel, etc.)? Which model should I get if I want to have the transformer work for all of the 120-volt circuits? Or do I need two? Is there a better alternative?

Thanks for your help,
Art Knapp

Yes, your coach has two legs, 50 amps at 120 volts each. We have no experience with the Autoformer device you are considering. We suggest you consult technicians trained and experienced in this product and also carefully review and follow the manufacturer's installation instructions regarding use of this product in your Newell.
