Rear bath

I cannot believe how much more I like a rear bath. The space for the walkin closet combined with the bath gives so much more room in the coach. Also kids in front have the half bath they can use at night.. So believe now a bath and a half is worth more than one without.

we were worried we were giving up some storage but realized we have more now than what we did.

We love our Bath and a Half and would never consider another coach without one!!!! It is so nice to have my own "space" (1/2 bath is mine) and since we are fulltiming its even better :) I also love having our walk in closet in the rear full bath, which in later years they did the cabinets. When we were at the factory mid June getting service work done, they told me they couldnt remember a bath and a half before ours (423). Wondering if anyone else has one or knows of a earlier bath and a half model? Someone at Newell also told me that they made bath and a halfs 5 years BEFORE Prevost did!!! For the RV company I work for, bath and a half models have been the #1 seller in gas and diesel for past 5 years straight!!! Talk about Newell being ahead of its time...............WoW

Question: with the bath and 1/2, do you also have a king size bed?

Ours is 76" wide by 80" long. I think thats a king but not sure. Kind of rounded at bottom so had to get all bedding custom made. Our bath and a half coach has no slides.

I think its just a king with rounded bottom.

It has always seemed like 90% of later Newells that I have been in had king beds and rounded on the foot end. I do remember one that was a queen and just assumed the person had ordered it that way. Heck I am fine with a queen at home so I would surely be fine with a queen in the coach. Regarding the 1/2 bath, I always admired them and thought it was pretty cool (even in the brand "K" coaches) but never thought it would be that useful for my needs, but maybe it would, I just have to experience it. lol!

We have only stayed in the coach for overnight. But when we moved coaches the old one was pretty stuffed. The new one swallowed everything and we have tons more room. Only thing I would change on this coach is the carpet.. Newell said its a 3k job. Does anyone think a carpet company could do it. Or does the slide mechanism cause problems.

Salt lake is nice, cloudy but temp only hit mid 80's today. Haven't had a chance to see stuff yet but will start tomorrow.
Had a great time back in Thibodaux. Surprised our granddaughter at her kindergarten class. Enjoyed spending time with our kids. Can't put a price on that.

Marc, We had Newell re-do flooring in our coach this spring. We could maybe have gotten it cheaper somewhere else, but I like keeping as much as possible "Newell"
quality. We definitely do not regret having this done at Newell. They offer a great selection of high end flooring.

You bought a Newell for its quality didn't ya? Why would you consider having anyone do new carpet except Newell? It has to go on tight, fit to handle the floor mechanisms. Plus you would get a Newell pattern that fits the brand and that's got to help in resale value.

For the non DIY guys, I would have to give thumbs up to the factory on any of this type of stuff first over another company. It also depends on the convenience factor for some and price. The factory will most always come in high but as the saying goes "you pay for what you get". Something many people don't even consider when shopping for coaches or RVs is that you are very lucky to get a manufacturer to even do repairs. Many don't even do upgrades or repairs unless it's a warranty thing and then even many of those are done at authorized dealers making repairs many times unsatisfactory.
