High Temp Shutdown

The high temp shutdown is disconnected on my recently purchased 1986 Newell with 8V92 Detroit. It appears like the exhaust may have broken and rested on the sender melting the wires in the process. The wires were cut and tied off to the side. I would like to have this working. Any suggestions for wiring schematic and replacement sender for this motor?
