79 Steering box adjustment!

I have a 1979 with an excess play in the steering.. I see three adjustments on the steereing box. How do I do this safely?

79 STeering box adjustment - We recommend you have the steering box adjusted only by a qualified, experienced heavy duty mechanic. The 1979 Newell is equipped with a very common Ross steering gear. Any good truck service department can handle this job.
