Default air control manifold for bay fridge/freezer slide

hi all,

i have a bay fridge/freezer that comes out on an air slide. it comes out just fine. and goes in just fine. however, when it is out, the manifold leaks.

it leaks out of the exhaust muffler that is adjustable to control the rate the slide goes in or out.

so, clever me went to grainger and got a new one for 6 bucks. feeling very pleased with my troubleshooting prowess i installed it (it is not in an easy position for a 6'2" 270 pound guy to get at. )

of course, it didnt make any difference. if i turn the screw on top of the exhaust piece, if i adjust it so it comes out very very slow, i can get the air to stop exhausting.

any ideas? there is also a red screw on each side of the manifold (one for in and one for out) that michael said was a regulator screw. i will see what it does tomorrow.

it is the same manifold they used for the dupree air poo tank valves.
