Are you referring to the relay used to shut down the engine when the ignition key is turned off? If so, have you consulted a Detroit Diesel servicing dealer? The Series 60 fuel system, including the shut down relay, has proven very reliable over the years, and we suspect you have some malfunction requiring the attention of a qualified Detroit Diesel technician.
