i saw the mothers polishing ball at autozone but they wanted 20 bucks for it and i was too cheap.
i ordered 3 of these wool ones for about the same price and used them. after some hard use they came unglued from the cone, but i used a generous batch of jb weld and clamped them overnite and they stayed together after that.
so, it is whatever works. shiney is shiney......
