Thanks for the reply; I guessed that yours had to be a straight in stairway.

When it comes time to change my Amana; I am going to remove the window that is forward of my entrance door and use a fork lift to remove/install the refrigerators.

I have seen this done @ the Newell factory, and it is a piece of cake! Very easily done!
