[Newell Attack]

Our kitchen sink drain is developing a clog and it drains very slowly. It started with the left side and now the right side is also getting stopped up. Are there any safe liquid remedies that I can try? If that doesn't work, what's the process...take the traps off each drain pipe and look there for clogs? Any ideas will be much appreciated. Thanks.
