matt told me about getting the codes read. if he overheated it, it will be in the code history now, as well as the low coolant lite. it tells you at what engine hour it happened and for how many seconds.

i believe the series 60 also does coolant and oil temp as well as coolant level and oil pressure.

the only thing about the coolant level sensor is that it is either 100 percent full or 100% empty when in reality it is just reading the upper sensor and the level at it. at least that is the way it is with my 8v92 radiator.

hope he finds the radiator low, fills it and everthing is ok.

i still stick to my guns on not 100% counting on the DDEC, but to use the gauges and monitor the temps, boost and pressures.

thats my opinion and in this case i think it is worth more than 2 cents.
