Not sure about a relay but I do know that this circuit is switched off of the ignition. When the ignition is turned on, it is active, when the ignition is turned off, power will no long feed the heater control. In a Newell there are not a lot of coach functions that are feed off the ignition switch. On mine, the dash heat/air blowers, docking lights and the step function are about the only coach, as opposed to chassis, changes I notice as I turn the ignition from off to on.
