I am living in my newell and working the gustav hurricane down in baton rouge. I arrived 2 days after the storm hit and am in an RV park 60 miles west of baton rouge. We had a little wind and heavy rain the other day when Ike hit texas but everything went ok.
When I got here it was non stop electrical repair trucks and tree removal trucks going into baton rouge and now there are literaly thousands of trucks heading from baton rough to texas for another clean up.
I expect to be working here for a month or two and then probably be transfered to some where in texas.
It sure makes working a big difference when you have newell to call home. It looks like adjusters will have work for a couple of years just in texas.
Thanks much, Wally Arntzen
