On our '82 the Switch Panel would need to stay energized. The Old Battery Charger/Converter was on a Circuit Breaker.
We now use the HEART Power Inverter/Charger. I rewired the Inverter/Charger to a new and completely separate Double Pole Circuit Breaker that is located just after the Source Isolation Panel (Relay Box at the port aft bay).
