I would look at what my time's worth, and how long it would take me to do it vs. paying to have it done (zero chances of me falling off a ladder).
If the cost equates to, for example, $10 an hour if I did it myself, there's no way I'm going to do it. For 10 bucks, an hour, there are many more entertaining things I'd rather do.
