I am not sure what point you are trying to make. In almost all bankruptcies, the company has underfunded pension plans such as General Motors, all of the steel companies and many states, counties and cities. This is not considered to be the employees' money, and the pension liability generally is turned over the the Pension Benefit Guaranty Company, a government agency.
