Best way I have found to keep the seal from sticking is baby powder after a good cleaning with windex and thoroughly drying. Have done this on four coaches over the years and find it works well and leaves no mess. It's very easy to apply with by just dusting the exposed seal from the outside and it is so fine that it makes it's way all around where lubes and sprays can't.
