I have a good friend that writes mapping software for the Idaho Department of Water Resources, he keeps me up to date on what a pain it is to support multiple browsers.
Even when using Microsoft software he still has his biggest problems with Internet Explorer, you should probably put a disclaimer on all pages that will display with all browsers that "Internet Explorer is not supported on this site".
