The Tires on our '82 are 11R22.5. These are more of a standard truck and bus size from that time. The newer coaches do use different tire sizes than we do. As far as the correct width of the tire that would depend on the Rim. We have ALCOAs and the size is stamped on them, sorry but I do not remember the size.
I know of at least one other guy running COOPER Tires and he has been happy with them. Our tires should be changed every 5-7 years just because.
