Used Newells with Slide Out I am embarking on a search for a slightly used Newell, and wonder at what year did the slide out room first become available?

Also, I plan to tow an 8000 lb trailer, what is the minimum engine size you recommend? I will be driving a lot in the mountainous west, and detest climbing interstate grades at 45 mph! Your comments
