Default Here comes Jed Clampett

Some of you know that Rhonda, Alex, and I are moving to West Virginia. It's a long story, but a wonderful opportunity for me, and a chance for us to live in a different part of the country.

We leave tomorrow, but we do not have a house there yet, and our house is Texas may take some time to sell, for sure. So the company is putting us in temp houseing on the WV end. However, we may be in temp house until the end of the year. Meaning we need to take three seasons of clothes for Alex, Rhonda, and I. Oh yeah, dont forget two desk top computers, printers, and the like. Plus the bare basic cycling toys (like one road bike, one mountain bike, and one tandem), and of course some tools, and maybe stuff the movers won't touch like car paint, and welding torches, and most any kind of liquid. And there are things near and dear like my coffee maker, and kitchen knives. I think you may be getting the picture.

Anyway, we are pressing the Newell into service as a moving machine of sorts. I have to say that I have been quite impressed in that the coach just ate it all. No problem, room to spare. I will go weigh the beast to make sure I am not doing something too stupid with weight. But I can now see why full timers would love the storage capability.

So, with all the toys on the Subie roof rack, and all our pots and pans rattling, the Clampetts pull out of Texas on the way to their next adventure.
