Not only is the interior floor flat when extended, but the Phantom slide retracts neatly and invisibly within the main structure of the coach using an air inflatable gasket for a weather tight seal.
Most RV slides use a foam-rubber seal that presses against the exterior sides of the coach, thus preventing the slide from fully retracting into the structure and thus giving it the add-on look.
Newell also hides the slide mechanisms and supports within the slide, resulting in a smooth custom look when extended.
