I highly recommend you go, or stay, with roof airs.

Roof air units are easy and economical to replace, and free up tons of basement space.

Getting a central unit repaired means you must not only find an a/c repair place with the expertise and the desire to work on it, but they must have suitable parking to accomodate the coach.

I have roof a/c's on my coach and will never go back to basement.
